We are thrilled you’re considering sharing our little slice of paradise, Las Casitas, as part of your vacation to the Riviera Maya! Here’s a bit of information about the villas and casitas.
Las Casitas “At a Glance”:
Configuration: All of the villas and condos in Las Casitas have comfortable beds in different configurations for the needs of your family. Review the individual listings for the various options available to you. Each bedroom has its own bathroom located either ensuite, or directly adjacent to the bedroom. The kitchens are well-appointed with anything you may need to prepare your family favorites or something new! Bottled water is available in dispensers, or for some villas, directly pumped from the bottles into the refrigerator water and ice dispenser. Refills are available from our on-site caretaker for a nominal charge. Most casitas also have a bar equipped with glassware and tools to help you imbibe in your favorite beverages.
Phones: Telephones are in all of the units and configured to allow you to call both locally and internationally free of charge. The phone number is provided in the Information Book inside the Villa or Condo, as are key local numbers (Taxi, Emergency, etc.) you may need. Tip: For greatest convenience, make sure your cell phone has an international plan or “travel pass” that allows use in Mexico.
WiFi: Each villa and condo has their own individual WiFi available for your use. The Complex also has a common WiFi account that may work better in the pool or beach area.
Air Conditioning: All of the villas and condos are fully air conditioned, but they operate on individual units (called splits) for each of the rooms using remote controls. This allows you to use the air only in the rooms you are occupying (they cool quite quickly) saving energy.
Televisions: While there are televisions in all of the villas and condos, the level of service may be different (some with US satellite, others with Mexican cable, and a few with both). In many cases, there are multi-geography DVD players as well, so bring along your or the kids favorites and enjoy (or even better, sit on the terrace and enjoy the sounds of the ocean)!
Kitchen: All of the villas and condos are well-equipped with most anything you would need. However, if, during your stay, you find that we have not provided something that would have been helpful, please let us know so we can add it to our list of future amenities (and, if we’re able to get it for you during your stay, we’ll certainly do that)!
BBQ: All villas and condos have BBQ grills available for your use. Most are charcoal (check individual listings), so you’ll want to add that to your “stock up” items from the store when you arrive!
Pool & Jacuzzi: These are centrally located and are shared with the rest of the complex.
Beach Equipment: Las Casitas provides beach chairs and umbrellas free of charge for use on the beach. They are stored in a convenient location for your use as desired.
Beach Access: You couldn’t be closer! Las Casitas is gated at the beach for additional security. The beach is a public beach that is usually raked and cleaned by the Village. A great area for swimming or sunning!
